
Cooking Directions:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees...
Trim away rough rind and excess fat...
Place ham in roasting pan meat side down and score making crosshatchs...
Make dipping SAUCE and glaze by combining mustard, sugar and apricot
mixing well and add a pinch or two of salt to taste...
Roast till instant read meat thermometer reads 120 degrees inside (about 2
hours...ALWAYS cook meat, poultry, etc. by TEMP. not TIME...)
Remove ham and stick cloves into where crosshatches meet...
Increase oven temp. to 350 degrees...

Brush entire ham with SAUCE...
Return to oven...
Brush a few more times during next 1/2 hour or so...you'll have plenty left to
DIP!!!!....
Cook till instant meat thermometer reads:
130 degrees (about 1/2 to 1
hour...)
Remove from oven and let ham rest for about 1/2 hour...ok, cheat a bit and
cut a few pieces now and dip in the SAUCE...YUMMMMMMMEEEEE
Carve pieces off and place on plate and drizzle SAUCE over it all or
just place a serrated knife in meat and let everyone cut and pick...
Make sure to dip in SAUCE!!!!!...(It's the secret to it's success)...
Continue to devour next day (if any is left) after wrapping in foil and storing
in fridge...
Keep dipping in chilled SAUCE!!!.....
