Morristown Ice Hockey versus Mendham, 12/30/99

 

Even though we lost to Mendham 3-1, the Morristown Colonials played their best game ever. Out shot count is getting higher, and we played with a lot more enthusiasm.

Our solo goal was scored on a great backhand by PJ Scriff of a pass from Steve Markowitz. Mendham's Andrew Schmidt scored on a power play goal on a bullet from the point, and the other two goals were both set up by Rob Loderstadt, with the goals to Ryan Hastings and Chris Murdoch.  Victoria Elkins had a great game in net for Mendham, stopping 17 of 18 shots. Dan Markowitz stopped 20 of 23 for Morristown.

We actually outshot Mendham in the first two periods, but they outshot of 11-3 in the third. when the scored two goals.
